Soulja Boy may need to logoff social media altogether. His online antics have gotten him some negative publicity on more than one occasion. This time in particular, the Mississippi-by-way-of-Atlanta rapper has been caught posting a fake sonogram to his Instagram.
The caption of the post reads, “I’m going to be a father soon.”
But social media, however, determined that was a lie. As it turns out, the sonogram was derived from Blogspot page called Rooney Adventures in Pregnancy. When Soulja’s followers caught him in his lie, he deleted the post.
This social media L comes one day after his arch rival Chris Brown enlisted comedian DeRay Davis to join in the mocking of the “Crank Dat” rapper. On the spoof, DeRay plays the role of SB. But instead of saying, “They say Soulja ain’t from the hood,” DeRay taunts, “They say DeRay ain’t no celebrity….hey, what up, homie?”
As he attempts to put his arm around a presumably unknown person, Chris Brown pushes him off, “Get the fuck off me.”
Brown’s latest stab at SB is just the continuation of their ongoing feud. Just last week, a video surfaced of Chris Brown taunting Soulja Boy about their upcoming fight.
“When I pull up on ya, it’s going down,” Brown said. “We’re going to set this fight up and do all that, but niggas gon’ always slick talk. And they know, when I’m in the same room, they chest deflating than a motherfucker. Boy, stop putting that superhero costume on, ‘fore we torture you.”

Soulja Boy responded with a video to Instagram to warn celebrity boxing fans that Chris Brown may be having a change of heart in their upcoming fight. The Atlanta rapper says that he signed up for the fight “a week ago” and asks rhetorically, “Ya’ll remember, he the one that called me out? What you waiting on? […] Sign that motherfuckin’ paperwork, nigga. Stop playin’.”
He captioned the video, “Don’t get scared now. Ain’t no backing down. You challenged me to a fight now let’s get it.”
A concrete date, time and venue of the fight has yet to be set. Reports have claimed it may go down in Dubai. Other sources sat the fight is happening in either Las Vegas or Los Angeles next month.
