Tyler the Creator‘s new album Flower Boy has finally arrived despite its premature leak. Tyler’s fourth studio album appeared online a full 2 weeks before its official release date and fans on social media immediately reacted. People couldn’t help but notice the album’s lyrics. Lyrics like “Shout-out to the girls that I lead on for occasional head and always keeping my bed warm” (“Foreword” featuring Rex Orange County), or “Next line will have ’em like, ‘Whoa’/I been kissing white boys since 2004” (“I Ain’t Got Time!”) have caused fans to raise speculation about Tyler’s sexuality and question if these lyrics serve as Tyler’s “coming out” or if he is just trolling.

Lyrics aside, it can most certainly be said that this project is Tyler’s most personal to date. He enlisted the help of ASAP Rocky, Frank Ocean, Lil Wayne, and Estelle who all feature on the album. In addition to Flower Boy, Tyler is also working hard on two television series, The Jellies! on Adult Swim and Nuts & Bolts on Viceland, both which are expected to premiere this year.
