Funkmaster Flex has never been one to hold his tongue, and he just couldn’t hold himself back from stopping Murda Mook during his freestyle on Hot 97 to address “mumble rappers. The subjects of his annoyance this time are Lil Yachty and Bow Wow.
“Now listen, that’s called motherfuckin’ bars, nigga,” the DJ screams.
“You know nothin’ about that. You know why? Because you’re a mumble rapper, Bow Wow … Lil Yachty, you don’t want nothing too. Neither of you n*ggas want nothing, because Murda Mook is standing right there!
He continues, “2017, mumble rappers are finished.”

It was only a few days ago that the record spinner and Bow Wow had verb-to-verb combat on social media. Flex drew first blood on Twitter: “FYI- Bowwow is Fucking finished out here! FACTS! His records is trash! Basura!” And Mr. Moss came right back with the Twitter poll, “Should @hot97 fire funk flex and hire NEW FRESH Hungry dj’s from NYC?”
Bow Wow quickly snapped back, and the two went in so hard on each other, that fans started taking shots. This is the first time, however, that Boat has been thrown in the mix. We’ll stay tuned to see how this ends.
