Kendrick Lamar’s new album will be here on Friday April 14 and the TDE MC just revealed the official title, artwork and tracklist for the project.
The album is called DAMN. and features collaborations with U2 and Rihanna. RiRi is featured on a track called “LOYALTY” while U2 and K.Dot connect on a song titled “XXX.”
The album also features his new single “HUMBLE” which debuted at No. 2 on ‘Billboard’ Hot 100 chart. “Humble” also debuted atop the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts, his first No. 1 on each genre ranking.
Producers on the 14-song album include Alchemist, Mike WiLL Made-It, BADBADNOTGOOD, DJ Dahi, Terrace Martin, and 9th Wonder.
In a previous interview with The New York Times Style Magazine, Kendrick talked about the new album, saying,
“My focus is ultimately going back to my community and the other communities around the world where they’re doing the groundwork. To Pimp a Butterfly was addressing the problem. I’m in a space now where I’m not addressing the problem anymore.”
