Lil Uzi Vert Is Not Signed To Wiz Khalifa’s Taylor Gang
Not so fast Wiz. It looks like Lil Uzi Vert joining Taylor Gang may be in affiliation only because DJ Drama and Don Cannon made it clear that he’s still signed with them.
At a recent show in Philadelphia, Wiz Khalifa welcomed the “Money Longer” hit maker to his team, announcing,
“Taylor Gang, we got Lil Uzi Vert now, welcome to the motherfuckin gang, nigga. Thank you for bringing me out to Philly. Thank you for being the most influential young nigga.”
Drama and Cannon both hit up Twitter to kill the noise and confusion with DJ Drama writing,
“Due to any confusion or contrary belief, Lil Uzi Vert is only ‘Signed’ to Generation Now, LLC!”
Cannon also backed up that statement with,
“Respectfully, we have alotta of love for Taylor Gang and Wiz, but Lil Uzi Vert is signed to Generation Now. Here is your answer.”
Ironically, Generation Now and Taylor Gang are both under the umbrella of Atlantic Records.
