Young Thug Behind $2.2 Million in House Payments

It seems Young Thug cannot stay out of the courts. On Wednesday (April 12), a lawsuit was filed against the Atlanta rapper by Heritage Select Homes, LLC claiming that he owes more than $2.2 million in payments for his gated Buckhead Heights home.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that — real name is Jeffrey Lamar Williams — agreed to a “balloon promissory note” on the home on Sept. 19, 2016 and that he was “scheduled to pay a total of $86,500 on Oct. 19; $86,033 on Nov. 19; $150,567 on Dec. 19; and then two more payments of $14,667 in January and February. On March 19, he was supposed to pay a sum of $2,214,667 on the home.”

The 11,000-square-feet home features six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a full bar, a theater room, four-car garage, indoor pool and hot-tub.

Back in February, Jeffery was slapped with a $360,000 lawsuit for a missed concert performance in New York last year, according to the Atlanta-Journal Constitution. Event organizer Nicholas Fitts claims that he, Thugger and Thug’s YSL Enterprises signed a $55,000 contract for the Atlanta rapper to perform at a concert at Sahlens Stadium in Rochester, New York.

The lawsuit, which was filed in Cobb County, Ga. court on Jan. 17, alleges the rapper “did not have a valid legal reason for his failure to perform.”

Earlier this month, he had all felony cocaine possession, felony marijuana possession and three counts of felony gun possession charges dropped. And most recently, he dodged battery charges after being accused of slapping a woman in the face in a nightclub parking lot back in March.
