Birdman Tells 50 Cent He Wants to Produce Next Album, Promises Platinum

From the Big Tymers to the Hot Boys, to Lil Wayne, Drake and Nicki Minaj, Birdman has a laundry list of gold, platinum and even diamond accolades under his belt. So he feels more than confident that he can guarantee 50 Cent platinum sales on his next album if allowed to executive produce the project.

The Cash Money CEO took to Instagram to post a photo of the 50’s 2003 Get Rich or Die Tryin’ album cover with his interest in executive producing his new project. Under the post, he captioned: “Told @50cent I wanna executive produce his next album 🔥it’s guaranteed platinum plus #getrixhordietryin .P2 let’s getit.”

If 50 does decide to do business with the New Orleans music mogul, he best make sure all paperwork is intact. Baby is currently being sued by Jas Prince for Drake’s earnings that were allegedly never paid. The situation has gotten so ugly that Rap-A-Lot Records kingpin J. Prince warned Birdman that he would “get to the bottom” of the millions in Drake profits the Cash Money honcho’s been sitting on.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, the under boss is suing Brian “Birdman” Williams and his brother Ronald “Slim” Williams for failure to pay one-third of Drake’s profits. Prince claims the co-founder of the label and blood brothers beat him and the Aspire Music Group out of $4 million as part of a deal that brought Drizzy to Cash Money Records.

As the story goes, Jas discovered Drake, got him a management deal with Aspire Music Group and an artist deal with CMR. As compensation for putting the pieces together, Jas and Aspire were supposed to get broken off.

But according to the lawsuit, Birdman isn’t holding up his part of the bargain and not fulfilling his contractual duty to pay one-third of his Drake profits. Because he signed Drake to an exclusive new deal in January 2013, the new contract breached Drake’s original one, which left Jas and Aspire not being paid.

Jas is so adamant about getting his bread that one of Aspire’s (a company for which Jas owns a large porting) attorneys is Marc Kasowitz, who also represents President Trump.

Just last week, TMZ caught up with James Prince, who made it clear where he stands and he’s backing Weezy. He stated, “Lil Wayne, that’s a no brainer. That’s the lil’ homey and as I’ve stated publicly a few times, we gone get to the bottom of that.”

J. Prince has squashed many beefs in the past and when asked how he planned to hash this one out, he replied, “I’m gone make them an offer they can’t refuse.”
